Was looking at this monitor but there is a similar but new one with 180hz are they the same cause it's cheaper somehow

I am still running a 3950X and 6750XT. I want to upgrade to a 5950X for CS-GO and fortnite. In those games, I am completely CPU limited, even at 1440P. In fortnite my GPU doesnt go above 65% usage.

My Display 3840X2160, Ray Tracing turned off, DLSS turned on, Cyberpunk 2077 runs at 100 FPS on a boring Dell XPS 32gb 😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀

The more of these tests I watch the more convinced I get that what I need to buy is a used 7900xt

This CPU test proves again: don't need highend hardware to have much fun! Especially for story focused gamers not targeting 120+ fps in competitive titles but like 80+ fps ... the 5600 (x) is still a valid option, especially considering used prices! Combine that with a RX 5700 XT for older titles in the lower midrange or a RX 6800 (XT) for the upper midrange and your good to go! *Plays every PlayStation title for PC in 1440p high 60+fps!* And the best is: with the 5700/ 5800 X3D and a RX 7900GRE/ XT ... you still have a great upgrade path with parts still falling in price the next months.

I just went on the ASrock website as of 16-05-24 the ASrock A620M-HDV/M.2 apparently supports 170w cpus.

The ryzen 5 7600 sells for under $200 these days. Thing is a beast in 1440p gaming. Eventually I want to put an 8 or 12 core in my build. But I'm more than pleased with the 7600's 6 core performance.

Would love to see the 6 core 5600X3D wiping the floor with the 16 core 5950X. That would be a curb stomp demonstration of cache over cores. Edit: In gaming of course, no need to show that productivity/efficiency stuff. Please don't compare the two in that productivity stuff.

I got a 14900k, a week after it came out. A few months later i had to rma. Now i got another one, brand new. I guess next time i upgrade ill get amd. But i always just buy intel, cause i dont care much to research, its easy to just get the new i9 when it comes out.

Still Rockin a 5700xt.... still rockin AM4 now with 5800x3d and lookin at a 7900xt if I see a good sale or nice used quality.

Your Helldivers 2 results are a bit of an anomaly for me. I own a 7950X3D and a 4090, and tried duplicating your results by playing solo on diff 4 and can't get anywhere close to the 220avg FPS in your last video. I average about 150-160. On Helldive diff 9 I'm sitting at about 110, while 1%s are at about 55. Also on Ultra Quality 1080p, tried multiple different things including restricting things to CCD0, which reduces average FPS and further reduces 1%s and .1%s. GPU utilization is always around 50-70% and one core is usually maxed out, which restricts performance. Also on W11. Not criticizing, just have no idea how you're getting such good performance. That aside if you're looking for heavily multithreaded titles (HD2 which you test and I can't get similar numbers), Skylines 2 with a pop 250k or larger will 100% bring a CPU to its knees. Also when doing Riftbreaker you have to test on high difficulty settings, which greatly increases the number of units and the simulation will load things heavily. Certain multiplayer games will also heavily utilize more cores, such as Warzone if (you have to make sure to set the thread numbers in the .ini to utilize higher core count CPUs).

i just bought a 5700x for 175, it gets here this week. its a upgrade from a 5500 that i got for 70 dollars and will just be flipping the 5500 to make back most of what i bought it for

Vram is important so Devs can be lazy. But I also blame that on publishers for rushing the devs

Built my niece one for Christmas. Rockin' the 5600G. 2 Built for me plus my gaming rig, all running the 5600 and in my rig it pairs well so far with the RX 7600XT 16GB. Running the 5500 in my desktop. Have not gone to AM5 yet, the 5500 runs at 89 bucks. Still have a few AM4 platform CPU's to upgrade to before I change to AM5.

Every amd is a mistake to recommend gamers. Amd CPU-s has way to many issues. Some games are unplayable.

I am still rocking a 3800x I bought 3 years ago and i don't see myself upgrading in the next 2-3 years

I'd like to see test like this using Nvidias recommended upscaling settings (DLSS Performance at 4K, Balanced at 1440p) and Digital Foundrys Optimized/Console settings as those usually strike a pretty good balance.

They should just be honest about the power capability. I have no problem at all with cheaper boards especially for running the 65W processors, there is no need to have a 200W motherboard.

I still played games at 1440p with my Asus Strix GTX 1080 (non-Ti) until about a year ago when I jumped to the 4080 (*crying in money spent*). The GTX 1080 was a bit slower than the Ti but still played most games fine (at least with a more modern CPU than the 4c/4t Intel i5 I started with)! I got it as a slightly used returned package with a significant discount in 2017. I've passed it down through a firend to someone who still had something like the GXT 970. I hope the card will serve a few more years to the new owner!

Got a 5600 actually this year, to pair with 6700xt for 1440p gaming. Couldn't be happier. It's definitely fast enough for everything I play.

Am I the only one who got 7800x3d and can’t stop suffer from micro stuttering in all games??? First time on amd and my willing is to go back to intel despite the and better performance, these micro stutterings are making my head blow

I still wonder why AMD couldn’t have a 4 core 3d gpu available? it would be a beast for gaming. I guess it would cannibalise their other skews to some degree.
